Course Description

This sponsored pathway course prepares participants for entry-level and advancement opportunities in the US Virgin Islands hospitality and tourism economy. Learners explore hotel operations, guest experience, food and beverage coordination, events, transportation partnerships, cultural hospitality, customer service recovery, and workplace professionalism. The course is designed so a local hotel, resort, restaurant group, tour operator, or tourism business can sponsor participants into mentoring, job shadowing, training, internships, and employment interviews.

Course Objectives

  • Practice professional guest communication, service recovery, and problem solving.
