Course Description
This sponsored pathway course prepares participants for local opportunities connected to nature, sustainability, conservation, eco-tourism, agriculture, marine stewardship, waste reduction, and environmental resilience in the US Virgin Islands. Learners explore how local businesses, nonprofits, government partners, and community organizations can protect natural resources while creating meaningful jobs and training pathways. The course is designed for sponsors that want to mentor participants toward green careers, eco-tourism roles, conservation work, sustainability operations, and community-based environmental leadership.

Sponsored Pathway and Employment Connection
Ideal Sponsors: Eco-tour operators, farms, landscaping businesses, conservation nonprofits, marine organizations, resorts with sustainability programs, recycling and waste-reduction businesses, government agencies, and community resilience organizations.
Pathway Outcomes: Field mentorship, site visit, community stewardship project, job shadowing, internship, seasonal employment, or green workforce placement.
Target Roles: Eco-tour guide trainee, conservation assistant, sustainability coordinator trainee, farm or nursery assistant, marine stewardship assistant, environmental educator, waste-reduction outreach assistant, and resilience project aide.
